Harry Caray's Restaurant is a legendary Italian Steakhouse located in the heart of Chicago's River North. If you are a steak lover or a baseball fan, then a dining experience at Harry Caray's Restaurant is the ticket for you.

Harry Caray's Restaurant was named after the famous baseball announcer and is the "Official Homeplate of the Chicago Cubs." The restaurant has received many awards which include Chicago Tribune's Dining Poll "Best Steakhouse" for its delicious steaks and chops. The restaurant has also earned Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" every year since 1989 for its outstanding wine collection.

You will find your favorite cuts of the finest aged steaks and chops on the menu at Harry Caray's Restaurant. Also on the menu are Italian favorites such as Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo and Harry's Bone-in Chicken Vesuvio, which was voted "Best Chicken Vesuvio in the City".

This collection of sports artifacts is enough to please any sports fan. In fact, the collection of sports items at Harry Caray's Restaurant contains more than 1500 pieces of baseball memorabilia and is considered one of the most extensive collections in the world.

On display in the main display case at Harry Caray's Restaurant are a few select items that are considered to be the restaurants most exciting historical pieces. These pieces include Harry Caray's most recognizable trademark - his giant glasses - along with Harry Caray's 1989 Hall of Fame ring.

Next to Harry Caray's giant glasses are the sunglasses of one of the sports announcer's best friends, the legendary Elvis Presley.

Paying even greater homage to the legendary sports announcer is a 7-foot tall, white bronze statue of Harry Caray in front of Wrigley Field which is displayed proudly at the entrance of the Harry Caray's Restaurant.

The physical location of the Harry Caray's Restaurant has an interesting historical value. The restaurant flagship on Kinzie Street in Chicago is the only remaining building that is an example of 19th century Dutch Renaissance Architecture in the Chicago.

The Harry Caray Restaurant occupies all four floors of this historical building in Chicago. On the first floor you will find the two main dining areas and a full bar room that is occupied all hours of the day.

The second floor of Harry Caray's Restaurant houses the banquet room and a special MVP Suite. Management offices are on the third floor and the fourth floor holds a bit of intriguing history.

Frank "The Enforcer" Nitti, of the Capone gang, lived in an apartment on the fourth floor until 1943. A visit to Harry Caray's restaurant will reveal many pictures of Capone, Frank Nitti and other historical events and documents maintained in Frank Nitti's old room by the owners of the restaurant.

The atmosphere at Harry Caray's Restaurant is friendly and casual, but the design and features, and history of Harry Caray's Restaurant exude an inviting elegance. The location of the restaurant makes it convenient for those needing accommodations from the nearby hotels and access to the nearby office buildings.

Enjoy dining hours through lunch and dinner every day of the week starting from 11:30 am. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm and dinner is served from 5:00pm to 10pm on weekdays and until 11:00 pm on the weekend. The bar is open all day long from 11:30am to close.
